Forest Care Selection are currently working in partnership with a national care provider, that operates several specialist hospitals and registered homes. Their services cater for adults with a wide range of specialist requirements, including mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries and personality disorders.

They have an exciting job opportunity for a Ward Manager to join their hospital based in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex due to an internal promotion. The hospital is split into low-secure and high-dependency units based on the requirements of their clients.

The Ward Manager based in Bexhill-on-Sea; East Sussex will be responsible for:
Monitoring the day-to-day clinical care of all clients based at the service.
Providing out-of-hours cover on an ''on-call'' basis in accordance with the company's policy.
Ensuring meetings, ward rounds, managers panels, mental health review tribunals and multidisciplinary care planning meetings happen, as scheduled by making sure clinical staff can attend.
Ensuring medication is administered as prescribed and that it is reviewed at appropriate intervals by medical staff.
Facilitating and coordinating treatment plans, using the care programme approach and good clinical practice within the MDT setting.
Working alongside the consultant psychiatrist and coordinating the smooth flow of care from admission to discharge.
Supporting colleagues where required and demonstrating clinical excellence.

To be considered for the ward Manager position, you will need:
Nursing qualification and an active NMC PIN
Demonstrable experience working as a Ward Manager in a Mental Health setting.
Good people management skills with the proven ability to build and support multi-disciplinary teams.
Confidence, resilience, and a professional approach to the workplace.
The ability to demonstrate excellent clinical skills.

In return, the Ward Manager will be rewarded with a salary of Circa 50-55K which is negotiable for the right candidate + Bonus + Benefits, which includes company pension, annual leave and leisure/restaurant discounts.
