Forest Care Selection are currently working with an innovative provider of care and nursing homes with operations across the South and developing into a variety of locations.

This provider is seeking a Payroll Officer to assist in the oversight and processing of a weekly and monthly payroll.

The Payroll Officer in Winterbourne will:
• Take the responsibility of processing a four-weekly payroll for approximately 250 members of staff from the wages hours schedules, ensuring data is correct.
• Ensure deadline for wages is met and that information is submitted for a quick payment.
• Process of small monthly payroll.
• Handle mileage and expense claims for staff members, making sure documentation is correct and has been authorised by the appropriate Line Manager.
• Deal with payroll queries with the Care Home Managers.
• SSP, SPP, SMP payments.
• Guarantee compliance with statutory legislation.
• Auto enrolment processes and ensuring pensions are administered correctly.
• Update and altering staff records as necessary.

The Payroll Officer in Winterbourne will need:
• 6 months of current and continuous Payroll experience, ideally on Sage Line 50.
• Understand the need of confidentiality.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, mainly Excel to intermediate level.

The successful candidate will enjoy a base salary of up to £30,000 plus a range of benefits.
