Forest Care Selection is working in partnership with a leading national children’s charity, who offer specialist services to a range of vulnerable children and families. They’re looking to recruit a Registered Nurse (RCN/RNLD) for their established short-breaks service based in Headington, Oxfordshire. The service offers specialist short break services for children with physical disabilities, including overnight stays and holiday activities.
The Registered Nurse (RCN/RNLD) in Headington, Oxford will:
• Work as part of an established clinical and care team to deliver the very highest standards of person-centred care.
• Provide support and guidance whilst on shift to student nurses and care staff.
• Organise and supervise the work of the care team and update care plans.
• Assist in the induction of staff and act as the named nurse for a group of residents.
• Ensure residents receive high quality clinical care, while promoting independence and choice.
The Registered Nurse (RCN/RNLD) in Headington, Oxford will require:
• A nursing qualification (RCN or RNLD) and an active NMC PIN.
• Experience of working with children requiring specialist care
• Excellent communication skills and have a can-do attitude.
• A professional approach to the workplace and flexibility to work across various shifts including: 7am-3pm, 2.30pm-9.30pm and 9pm-7am.
