REGISTERED MANAGER (CHILDREN) – NEW MALDEN – SOUTHWEST LONDON UP TO 70K + BENEFITS
Forest Care Selection is working in partnership with an independent children’s provider, who offer specialist residential services to a range of children with emotional or behaviour difficulties. They’re looking to recruit a Registered Manager (Children) for their brand-new service, in New Malden, Southwest London.
The Registered Manager (Children) in New Malden, Southwest London will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, ensuring that the quality of care provided is consistent in line with company and Ofsted standards.
The Registered Manager (Children) in New Malden Southwest London will be a confident leader and will lead from the front in building a competent, motivated staff team. The individual should be able to identify any areas of concern in relation to child protection and should be experienced in liaising with local authorities, schools and external health professionals.
The Registered Manager (Children) in New Malden, Southwest London will ensure that each child within their care, receives a personalised care plan in line with their education, social, emotional, and cultural needs. They will also work with various professionals in ensuring that each child develops to their full potential. Furthermore, the Registered Manager (Children) in New Malden, Southwest London will take the lead in recruitment, training and inducting new staff members.
Candidates wishing to apply for the Registered Manager (Children) role in New Malden, Southwest London will need to have an NVQ Level 5 in children & young people, excellent knowledge of care standards, including child protection and demonstrable experience of managing a similar service, ideally supporting children with EBD. Experienced deputy managers looking to step up, will also be considered.
