Forest Care Selection are currently working a leading Learning Disabilities charity that has a longstanding history of supporting individuals with a Learning Disability or Autism.

This innovative organisation delivers care and support services to Adults and Children across their portfolio in the Southeast.

This unique charity is seeking to appoint an Operations Director who will report directly to the CEO and be instrumental in helping the organisation achieve their strategy.

The Operations Director in Kent will:
• Report to the CEO and ensure the delivery of person-centred services across the organisation encompassing all Adult and Children services CQC and OFSTED.
• Oversee an established regional management team and act as the Nominated Individual for the CQC regulated services.
• Provide effective and visible leadership on the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan and support good governance and ensure continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Deliver high-quality, personalised, and cost effective services to a range if client groups and be an active part of the Executive Team.

The Operations Director in Kent will need:
• A broad experience of Social Care and CQC regulated services as well as experience within Learning Disability services and a knowledge of Children services and OFSTED.
• Experience within a senior management position within a Social Care provider.
• Experience and understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services.
• Experience of commissioning new services.
• Extensive Safeguarding knowledge and experience.
• QCF 5 Health and Social Care or equivalent leadership qualification.
• To demonstrate the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including Local Authorities, Commissioners and Families.
• To be able to travel across services in the Surrey, Sussex, and Kent areas some of which are not easily accessible by public transport.
