Forest Care Selection are currently working with an independent charity, that offers specialist care to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex care needs. They have a new job opportunity for a Registered Manager, to join their specialist service based near Plymouth, which offers residential, short breaks and day services to a range of clients.
The Registered Manager’s duties will include:
Overseeing a team delivering the highest standards of care to Adults with a Learning Disability.
Ensuring the services continued compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Leading a team of Care and Support workers to provide the highest standards of Person-Centred care.
Budgetary and financial management and oversight of the services.
Liaising effectively with external stakeholders and promote the services to commissioners.
The Registered Manager in Plymouth will need:
A positive mindset and have a passion for supporting individuals with a Disability.
A Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent
To have previous experience of leading and motivating care teams.
Previous experience of managing a residential service, which ideally supports adults with learning disabilities.
The successful individual will receive a base salary of up to £40K per annum and company benefits, including company pension and discount vouchers.
