Forest Care Selection are currently working in partnership with a national care provider, that operates several specialist hospitals and care homes. Their services cater for adults with a wide range of specialist requirements, including mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries and personality disorders.
They have an exciting new job opportunity for a Registered Manager to work at their brand-new specialist service, based in South London. The service will cater for clients with either a neurodegenerative condition, mental health diagnosis, acquired brain injury or physical disability.
The Registered Manager based in South London will:
Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the services and coordinating its operations.
Manage and ensure the smooth running of the service.
Train, induct and conduct appraisals for staff members.
Ensure all statutory requirements are being met within the service.
Ensure service users are provided with the best possible care.
Market the home and support with increasing occupancy levels
To be considered for the Registered Manager post in South London, you will need:
Previous experience working as a Registered Manager in a mental health setting, either Rehab, low secure or forensic.
To have a good understanding of the Mental Health Act and any relevant legislation applicable to mental health.
Knowledge of the rehabilitation and recovery service pathway, however this is not essential.
Excellent people management skills, including supervision, carrying out appraisals and conflict resolution.
Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management or equivalent
A nurse qualification with a current PIN is preferred, but not essential
